About READ-Y

READ-Y is an international Erasmus+ project that aims to improve reading comprehension, digital multiliteracy, and media literacy among primary school students.

The project responds to the growing concern that students’ reading skills and motivation to read are declining across Europe.

By combining innovative teaching methods with digital tools and strong cooperation between schools, libraries, and families, READ-Y seeks to make reading more engaging, accessible, and meaningful for young learners.

Through collaboration between partners from several European countries, the project develops and tests new educational approaches that will help teachers support students with different learning needs, including those who struggle with reading or lack motivation.
